General Membership Meeting

7:30 p.m.

Brian Scanlan, president of the Firelands Archaeological Research Center, will introduce Dr. David Stothers.  Dr. Stothers is a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Toledo; Director of the Western Lake Erie Archaeological Research Program at the University of Toledo and Director of the Firelands Archaeological Research Center at the Amherst Historical Sandstone Village.  Dr. Stothers will present the power point presentation:  "The Dawn of History:  Protohistorical Trade Patterns in Northeast North America".  There will be a brief business meeting before the program and a social time with refreshments will conclude the evening.

John Dietrich, President of Amherst Historical Society, will give a complete update at to how the society is functioning and will discuss future plans for the society and village.  Committee chairmen will be available to answer your questions and will listen to an suggestions you may have that will help the society.  Refreshments will be served.
